Lewiston, Maine-based Geiger hosted a “green” open house in its Scottsdale, Ariz. office on March 17, 2010. The event drew nearly 200 clients and prospects. The showroom was filled with eco-friendly products. Each attendee received a “green goodie bag” filled with samples of products sure to be solutions to meet their needs. From organic T-shirts to bamboo plates, the entire event was a display of the multitude of choices now available for the environmentally friendly business.
A few days after the show, Kim Stack, a Geiger sales representative, received this comment from her customer. “I went through the great goodie bag and a few items popped out at me. Can I please get a quote?”
Jim Habzda, vice president of sales and marketing commented, “I have been to many open houses and end-user shows over the years. The Geiger green open house was amongst the best I have ever been to.
