Although the San Diego Padres announced their theme-game promotional giveaways earlier this week, they just revealed they will be trying a different approach to the process this year.
According to Gaslamp Ball, each theme game will feature a promotional giveaway (i.e. bobbleheads, T-shirts, etc.), but fans looking to collect these items will need a special “promotional section” ticket to receive the item.
This, of course, begs the question: Will Padres fans be willing to pay for their promotional “giveaways”?
The team will give out bobbleheads for “Star Wars,” “Ghostbusters,” “Game of Thrones” and more themes.
