SanMar Corporation, the Seattle-based supplier of apparel and accessories, on December 10 announced that the company has hired Kirit Wadhwana as global quality assurance manager. In this newly created position, Wadhwana will ensure all SanMar products are manufactured to the company’s design and aesthetic standards.
“SanMar is deeply committed to delivering products that exceed our customers’ expectations,” said Jeremy Lott, president of SanMar. “Adding Kirit to our in-house quality assurance team gives us the ability to best manage and maintain the quality of all our products.”
Wadhwana brings over 25 years of retail apparel and textile manufacturing experience to SanMar. He has held similar positions managing product integrity, color and materials for a variety of well-known retailers, including Sears, The Gap, Victoria’s Secret and Pantone.
