SanMar Debuts Uniform Catalog, Hires Janosik

Last month, Seattle-based SanMar debuted its first uniform catalog, Uniform Collection 2006/2007. The 36-page catalog features 12 new styles, including pants, outerwear and safety wear from CornerStone—SanMar’s workwear collection that premiered last year.

Designed to cater to a variety of uniform needs, the catalog showcases apparel and accessories for restaurant wear, corporate wear, hospitality, retail uniforming, construction and manufacturing. Along with the CornerStone brand, the catalog features apparel from Port & Company and Port Authority. It also includes a quick-read guide that lists the industries for which each product is best. Furthermore, the catalog’s cover can be customized with logos and contact information. It is available with or without pricing.

In other news, SanMar has hired veteran sales representative David Janosik to represent the company’s CornerStone workwear line in the territory east of the Mississippi.

“David brings with him substantial experience and a deep understanding of the industrial workwear, uniform, textile and linen marketplace,” said Dan Tushar, national sales manager. “His intimate understanding of the segment will enable him to deliver exceptional service to CornerStone customers in the territory.”

Janosik has 30 years experience in the industrial supply industry. Prior to SanMar, he was based in Chicago as Steiner Corporation’s midwest regional sales manager, a position he held since 2000.
