SanMar Corporation, a leading industry supplier of apparel and accessories located in Issaquah, Wash., announced the opening of its newest full-scale warehouse in Minneapolis. The 570,000 square foot distribution center replaces SanMar’s temporary 100,000 square foot facility, opened last year to more quickly serve the region.
The Minneapolis location offers next day shipping to Iowa, Minnesota, North Dakota and Wisconsin, as well as portions of Nebraska and South Dakota. Over the coming months, SanMar will add more products, sizes and color options to its stock of inventory in the new warehouse.
“Our goal is provide customers the inventory and overall experience they expect, from ordering through fulfillment and shipment,” said Jeremy Lott, president at SanMar. “This investment in a full-scale warehouse is our commitment to house the most on hand inventory in the Upper Midwest.”
The new warehouse, located in the Twin Cities suburb of Shakopee, Minn., is an environmentally friendly building, conveniently located with easy access to major interstates in the area. Featuring a large show room, customer meeting room and onsite kiosk for ordering, the new warehouse is an ideal setting for local customers interested in experiencing SanMar products in person, and its expanded size will benefit all customers in the region.
The Minneapolis warehouse is now open and processing orders. Will call hours are from 8:00 a.m. to 6:00 p.m. CT, Monday through Friday for customers interested in picking up orders onsite.
