Skip Hop Recalls USB Night Lights for Shock Hazard

The Consumer Product Safety Commission announced that Skip Hop is recalling a USB night light due to a shock hazard.

The Moonlight & Melodies night lights have a USB wall power adapter that, according to the CPSC, can break, creating the risk of shock.

The recall both the owl and elephant models of the item.

The CPSC reported that Skip Hop received one report of an electrical shock as a result of the item’s power adapter breaking.

Consumers should immediately stop using it, and contact Skip Hop for instructions on returning the USB adapter with a prepaid shipping label to receive a free repair kit, which includes a free replacement USB adaptor.
