Hartwell, Georgia-based Southern Plus Umbrella announced it added Highlands Ranch, Colorado-based Tazmark Inc. to its sales team. Company president, Wayne Taziri now handles Colorado, Utah, Arizona, and New Mexico for Southern Plus Umbrella in the Rocky Mountain region.
“Wayne has over 25 years of experience in the industry and to the territory, and I am excited to have him on our team and representing our line in the Rocky Mountain states,” said Brannon Craig, national sales manager of Southern Plus Umbrella. “Wayne is a consummate professional with a passion for excellence,” Craig continued.
“I knew he was the right person for the job when I asked him for professional references, and he told me that he could give me a prepared list of his choice, but felt it would be more effective if I just called anyone in the territory that I wanted,” explained Craig. “I did just that, and everyone I spoke to raved about Wayne.”
Southern Plus Umbrella Adds “Magic” to Sales Team
Southern Plus Umbrella has increased its focus on the western half of the U.S. by adding Indian Wells, California-based Collins & Associates to its sales team. This multiline representative group consists of of Robert Collins, Debra Stone, and Del Kahan. The team will service territories in California, Oregon, Washington, Idaho, Nevada and Hawaii.
“They bring (combined) nearly 70 years of experience in the industry and to the territory, and we are excited to have them on our team and representing our line on the West Coast,” said Brannon Craig, national sales manager of Southern Plus Umbrella. “They are very well respected by their distributor customers and their peers, and bring a certain energy to everything they do.”
“I recently did a traveling showcase where I spent many a day presenting my lines across from (or next to) Southern Plus,” said Collins. “I was so impressed with their products and their web technology that I knew it was a line we had to get involved with. The excitement they were creating at these shows was contagious, and their line is tailor-made for the West Coast.”
