Two of central Iowa’s leading businesses in the corporate print and fulfillment and specialty marketing industries are merging, creating a unique partnership with extensive customer bases. Straub Corporation, based in Des Moines, Iowa and Brooklyn, Iowa-based PAW Marketing announced the business merger earlier this month.
“Both of our businesses are thriving,” said Perry Wehrle, president of PAW Marketing. “This decision will allow us to continue to grow within our respective industries while discovering new and exciting opportunities.”
PAW Marketing provides marketing solutions for a variety of customers through its command of promotional products and campaigns. Straub Corporation, a printing company founded in 1971 as primarily an envelope printing business, has grown to be a leading resource for specialty printing and contemporary technologies that empower customers to more effectively monitor and manage projects online.
“The businesses of our customers are changing every day,” said Jan Miller Straub, president and CEO of the Straub Corporation. “Our mission is to provide them with the tools and advice they need to be one hundred percent satisfied with every detail of every project.”
Both companies attribute their respective successes to an unwavering focus on meeting customer needs and will continue to operate as in the past while complementing one another with unique sets of capabilities and services. PAW Marketing will merge into Straub Corporation’s facility this summer, although each company will maintain separate identities. Terms of the deal were not disclosed.
