Superior Uniform Group, Seminole, Fla., a designer and manufacturer of uniforms, image apparel and accessories, today announced that Benjamin Alpert has been promoted to the position of vice president of regional sales effective immediately.
In his new role, Alpert will provide leadership to Superior Uniform Group’s regional sales directors. He will also oversee the sales of Superior Uniform Group’s streamlined “one-stop-shop” offerings. This concept gives customers the ability to purchase not just uniforms and image apparel from Superior Uniform Group, but also shoes and promotional products from one single point of contact.
Alpert has been with Superior Uniform Group for two years, holding the position of regional sales director – Northeast region, U.S. Prior to working for Superior Uniform Group, Alpert was president of Alpert Business Consulting where he provided sales consulting, specializing in the various stages of the sales cycle. He previously held the position of director of sales for D.E.I. Management Group Inc. In this role, Alpert developed sales programs and led hands-on sales training for some of the largest companies in the world including Chevron and Zurich Insurance. Alpert holds a Bachelor’s Degree in Sociology from Ithaca College in New York.

With this transition, Anthony Catapano, territory sales manager for the New York territory has been appointed to the position of regional sales director – Northeast region, U.S. As regional sales director, Catapano will be responsible for leading the Northeast region sales team. Prior to joining Superior Uniform Group, he held the position of director of business development for DHL Worldwide Express where he grew DHL’s international products portfolio within each of the respective sales channels. Prior to this position, Catapano was a director of national accounts for Aramark Corporation. Catapano holds a Bachelor’s Degree in Business from St. John’s University in New York.
