Tekweld, the Farmingdale, New York-based personal care supplier, has announced the acquisition of Premier 1 Products, headquartered in Westhampton Beach, N.Y. Premier 1 Products has provided a variety of customized items to the promotional products industry, with a strong focus on the pharmaceutical market.
Randy Seltzer, owner of Premier 1 Products, will take on a new role as vice president of marketing with Tekweld. An established industry professional who was also formerly president of Premium Shapes, located in Belleville, N.J., Seltzer will bring his 30 years of experience to the company as he heads Tekweld’s new “PlasTEK” line, which will incorporate products and designs from Premier 1 Products.
“We are excited about Randy joining our team,” said Pamela Ferguson, vice president of Tekweld. “He will be a great asset to our fast growing company!”
