Tekweld, Hauppauge, N.Y., announced the appointment of Regina Harrington to the position of Central regional sales manager and Matt Kozar to Southeast regional sales manager.
Both Harrington and Kozar will report directly to Ray Rodriguez, vice president of sales and marketing for Tekweld.
“Regina comes to use with 16 years of promotional sales experience, most recently from an ASI top 40 supplier,” Rodriguez said. “Her established presence, strong communication and relationship-building skills, and familiarity with promotional products distributors in her covered states of Ohio, Michigan, Indiana, Kentucky and Tennessee gives Tekweld a huge sales advantage in this territory.”
Harrington, a graduate of Indiana University with a bachelor’s degree in organizational communications, was nominated for the Ohio Promotional Products Association’s Supplier Representative of the Year award in 2014-15.
“I was incredibly excited to be asked to join the Tekweld family,” Harrington said. “I am eager to submerge myself in its culture, and spread the positive energy and synergies found within Tekweld to my distributor accounts.”
Kozar also joins Tekweld from a top industry supplier, with more than five years of experience in the promotional products industry.
“Matt’s proven ability to cultivate strong business relationships, positive attitude, strong work ethic and organizational skills make him a strong asset,” Rodriguez said. “Not just to Tekweld, but also to our distributor accounts he calls on daily.”
Kozar, a graduate of North Carolina State University with a degree in business administration, will cover Georgia, North Carolina and South Carolina. He was the Carolinas Association of Advertising and Marketing Professionals Supplier Rep of the Year for 2018, and was also Field Sales Rep of the year for 2015 and 2016 while working for his previous supplier employer.
