Very few outlets will be offering single copies of “Annie Leibovitz, The Collector’s Edition,” a hardcover photograph book limited to 10,000 personally signed copies. The Book Company, Delray Beach, Fla., will have a limited supply next month with more available in May. Each book cost $2,500.
“There are few occasions where we offer single copies of a book, but we felt the Annie Leibovitz collector’s edition makes such an exceptional executive gift that we couldn’t pass up this offering,” Doug Greenhut, The Book Company’s CEO, said. “We’re thrilled to be the exclusive supplier to the promotional products industry of this unique conversation piece.”
The 476-page book spans the photographer’s 40-year career, showcasing iconic and never-before-seen portrait photography of famous celebrities. It measures 2.5′ tall and weighs 57 pounds and features more than 250 portraits of acclaimed actors, artists, athletes, businesspeople, comedians, dancers, journalists, musicians, writers and more. The book includes a choice from four covers and an introduction by actor Steve Martin. It comes with a tripod bookstand designed by Marc Newsom and a supplementary book containing describing the subjects contained in each photo.
