Promotional Products Association International (PPAI), the Texas-based not-for-profit association for the promotional products industry, has announced that the Incentive Marketing Association (IMA) will produce a new annual event, The Motivation Show Las Vegas, in cooperation with PPAI’s brand. showcase.

The Motivation Show, operating in Chicago since 1931, is a major annual event for the incentive and recognition market. “The Motivation Show is where business-critical connections are made, and existing relationships are nurtured, between suppliers, resellers, and end-buyer customers,” according to the show’s website. The Chicago event is features more than 500 suppliers and is attended by “more than 5,000 executives involved in sales and marketing, human resources, meeting planning and event marketing,” as well as resellers, promotional products distributors and fulfillment companies.
The Motivation Show Las Vegas is sponsored by the IMA and will feature an exhibit hall and conference program open to all buyers and resellers of incentive and recognition products and services featuring a showcase of the leading brand name merchandise, gift card, and experiential reward suppliers. The event will be held January 15-17, 2014 at the Mandalay Bay Convention Center in Las Vegas. Each showcase will be open to all incentive buyers, and will be co-located in a standalone pavilion adjacent to but separate from The PPAI Expo. The PPAI Expo will continue to offer access to registered industry distributors only.
In 2013, the IMA will begin the transition by co-locating the Motivation Show Education Program with PPAI brand. Incentive buyers and resellers will only be invited to the Motivation Show Education Program and brand. by the Motivation Show team. Buyers will register for the Motivation Show education directly through the Motivation Show registration system.
