The Vernon Company, Newton, Iowa, recently announced it has promoted Dave Cook to controller, effective March 1, 2015. Cook joined The Vernon Company in March 2012 as assistant controller and was instrumental in Vernon’s recent computer conversion.
He will continue to be the company expert on the accounting, credit, general ledger and financial business intelligence portions of the new computer system. In addition, Cook will assume responsibility for the company’s finance departments.
