The Consumer Product Safety Commission (CPSC) announced that Feld Entertainment, Vienna, Va., is recalling its light-spinner toy wands because the top component can detach, exposing a metal rod that poses an injury hazard to children.
The rod was sold only at Disney On Ice and Disney Live shows from October 2016 to November 2016. This is the third recall related to Disney within two months—the first is a sweatshirt and the second is a nightlight.
The light-spinner wands have either Mickey Mouse or Minnie Mouse at the top. The Mickey Mouse wands are yellow, red and black; and the Minnie Mouse wands are pink, white and blue.
The CPSC said that consumers should immediately stop using the wands and contact Feld Entertainment for a full refund.
