Trade Only Releases PromoServe 5.0 with More Than 500 New Features

Trade Only, the Costa Mesa, California-based provider of software and websites for the promotional products industry, announced the release of PromoServe 5.0, the company’s most advanced business management system for distributors and suppliers.

As well as delivering more than 500 new features, PromoServe is now available as a fully hosted and managed solution for unrivaled productivity and accessibility. Hosted in Amazon Web Services (AWS) and accessed via Citrix, it ensures availability and scalability for companies of all sizes. It remains available as a server-based solution for companies preferring this approach.

Enhancements to the sales process include opportunity tracking, helping users to identify, develop and close more sales. The Brand Identity module allows for creating different quote, order and invoice header graphics depending on the customer, account representative or division, enabling targeted branding and marketing messages in documents.

Integrated Product Research means no more re-keying of product data; just locate desired items from an extensive database of more than 300,000 SKUs and add them directly to a quote or order. The database is sourced from the industry’s leading suppliers and updated daily with new products and pricing.

Finance gains two new commission reports, which allow for real-time commission reviews and employee outputs, plus profit & loss reports by salesperson or department, providing a clear breakdown of profit & loss statements throughout the company. Automatic bank reconciliation and integration with Authorize.net saves time, reduces errors and improves customer service. Additionally, cost of goods sold is now automatically posted to the general ledger to track overall costs.

The Warehouse function benefits from real time integration with UPS WorldShip, which dramatically improves dispatch efficiency. The shipping note includes a barcode, which when scanned pulls all order shipment information into UPS WorldShip. Tracking details and costs are then automatically passed back into PromoServe, avoiding any re-keying.

With 300 standard reports now available, it’s easy to extract detailed information about business performance. Reports can be auto-scheduled to simplify distribution. There have also been significant developments in the STORE Enterprise integrated e-commerce website platform, and the new web2print upgrade.
