After an intense seven-game series (and what will go down as one of the best baseball games ever played), the Chicago Cubs are World Series champions for the first time since 1908. So, naturally, Chicagoans are celebrating. To help fans in the Windy City commemorate the historic win, Uber and Fanatics have teamed up to deliver Cubs T-shirts and hats.

Chicago customers can select the “Champs” option in the Uber app, and match with specific cars carrying the merchandise, Sport Techie reported. The companies will sell gear until they run out.

The two companies did something similar after, after the St. Louis Rams relocated to Los Angeles, but Chris Orton, chief marketing officer for Fanatics, said they wanted to do something even bigger.

“We knew from the first time we talked to Uber that it eventually would lead to second, third and fourth bites at the apple,” he told Sport Techie. “This has been a healthy partnership as we go back and forth with them. They’re eager and we’re eager. They’re sitting in the middle of this on-demand economy. We feel like that’s what we’re bringing to the table in sports, too—the notion that you can get what you want, when you want it.”

To sweeten the deal, former Cubs outfielder Andre Dawson tagged along to surprise some unsuspecting Cubs fans who purchased the items. How’s that for service?
