The Vernon Company, Newton, Iowa, recently announced that Mark Gammon, CAS, has been promoted to the position of business development manager. Since joining the company in 2008, Gammon has served as central region manager.
In his new role, Gammon will assume national recruiting responsibilities while working with Vernon’s field managers, in addition to becoming involved in corporate strategic planning and messaging in the home office.
“Mark has done a great job for us in his regional manager position, and for that reason we are very excited to be able to expand his role to a more strategic one,” said Dave Regan, Vernon’s vice president of sales and marketing. “Showcasing his skills and enthusiasm on a national level will benefit our organization tremendously.”
