What’s Inside the $55,000 Emmys Gift Bags?

While many people tuned in to the Emmys on Sunday night to watch “Game of Thrones” win big, we at Promo Marketing prefer talking about the gift bags. (Don’t get us wrong, we like talking about Daenerys Targaryen, too. But, back to the gift bags!)

According to E! News, the Emmys gift bags were worth a cool $55,000. Here are a few of the components:

  1. $100 Ageless Pens from Pilot Pens
  2. $1,000 plastic surgery gift certificates from Viva Youth
  3. $8,000 cacations to St. Martin
  4. Bathrobes from Wrapped in a Cloud
  5. Flamingo pool floats
  6. $1,000 worth of Italian food from Il Palato
  7. Promotional T-shirts

While these Emmys gift bags may seem outrageous, they are far from the most expensive gift bags we’ve covered. Just two years ago, gift bags at the Oscars reached $168,000. It sure pays to be famous, right?
