Dunk Fest 2013, organized by Wayland, Massachusetts-based iPROMOTEu, officially came to an end with the Louisville Cardinals winning the NCAA men’s college basketball championship on Monday night. The overall winner of Dunk Fest was Othell Little of OLJ Marketing, an iPROMOTEu affiliate. Othell correctly predicted that Lousiville would beat Michigan in the championship game. Tim Macy of On Target Brand Merchandise, also an iPROMOTEu affiliate came in second. Aaron Bradley of industry supplier American Greenwood took third place.
Dunk Fest is the annual NCAA men’s college basketball tournament challenge exclusively for the promotional products industry. The top three winners will each receive plaques courtesy of DYR Design Your Recognition, and the top 25 scorers will each get a commemorative Dunk Fest 2013 T-shirt.
“This year’s tournament was a lot of fun and generated spirited conversation and competition among the 230 industry participants,” said Ross Silverstein, president and CEO of iPROMOTEu.
Dunk Fest was started in 2008 as a way to generate enthusiasm, spirit and friendly competition among those working in the promotional products industry. Participation has grown each subsequent year. Dunk Fest 2013 was organized and run by iPROMOTEu.
