Top 50 distributor iPROMOTEu, Wayland, Mass., announced that with the U-Conn Huskies winning the NCAA men’s college basketball championship earlier this week, DunkFest 2014 officially came to an end. The overall winner of DunkFest 2014 was Kim Gasparini of Numo, an industry supplier. Gasparini correctly predicted that U-Conn would beat Kentucky in the championship game. Rob Consenza, an iPROMOTEu employee, came in second. Mary Ellen Harden of industry supplier Wall Street Greetings took third place.
DunkFest is the annual NCAA men’s college basketball tournament challenge exclusively for the promotional products industry. The top three winners will each receive an award courtesy of DYR Design Your Recognition, and the top twenty five scorers will each get commemorative DunkFest 2014 T-shirts.
“This year’s tournament was a lot of fun and generated spirited conversation and competition among the 260 industry participants,” said Ross Silverstein, president and CEO of iPROMOTEu, the organizer of DunkFest.
DunkFest was started in 2008 as a way to generate enthusiasm, spirit, and friendly competition among those working in the promotional products industry; participation has grown each subsequent year.
