Back to school season is here! While it may look a lot different this school year with classes being held virtually, in-person or a mix of both, students and teachers will still be purchasing some of the usual back to school essentials. To add to the mix, Starbucks just released a line of cups and merch inspired by school supplies. So, teachers and students (or really anyone) can stay hydrated while also matching their notebooks, pencils and more.
For many of us, it’s been a long time since we’ve been in an actual classroom where composition notebooks were seen across every desk. You know, the black and white ones that were fun to color in with bright sharpies. This Starbucks launch includes a nostalgic tumbler and tote bag using the marble cover design from these notebooks.

According to an article in Drew Reports News, the cold tumbler (that we’re officially calling the “composition notebook”) apparently has stickers that you can add to the cup, which is a neat feature:
There’s likewise a cold cup that has the structure notebook pattern. You get to customize it with the sticker labels it features, such as a heart with “get up,” stars, an apple with “lunch break,” lightning bolts, and other similar styles included on the other cups.
On top of that, there are also tumblers with doodle designs like pencils, paper clips, radios, coffee cups, “Rise and Shine,” “lunch break” and more small words and phrases. While some of the cups are more elaborate, others are simple, but still tie in nicely with the back to school theme.

For those who aren’t looking for tumblers, cups or totes, there’s also an enamel pin set, perfect for placing on jackets, backpacks or lanyards.

Since Starbucks doesn’t sell merchandise on its website, it’s hard to tell how many products are actually in this collection. Judging by different Instagram posts, our guess is that there are at least five new cups—both hot and cold versions—but possibly more. Back in May, Delish also noted that Starbucks launched a tumbler with a paper design around the cup and a pencil straw, which seemed to hint at a bigger collection.
As usual, Starbucks merch can be found can be found at Starbucks stores, but it looks as though a lot of the Instagram pictures we found were from Starbucks stores inside of Target. So, for fans looking to get their hands on back to school essential tumblers (or a new tote bag), these would be the places to check out.
