A small group of IT leaders is beginning to change the technology dynamics in the industry. Two years ago, a few of us got together to talk about common pain points that technology could address and the work began.

The following 18 people are contributing to a meaningful online community and influencing thought leadership in and outside the industry. Each of them is worth following on Twitter and engaging on other social-media sites. Here is your 2015 Online 18.

Good technology requires a good fit. A good fit requires a process to work with your technology. A new technology usually, but not always, requires a change to your process.

Like any social network, Twitter is more valuable the more you use it. More importantly, it becomes even more valuable to you the more you give to the community by actively contributing valuable engagement and content.

Windows 10 is scheduled to be released later in 2015. I am assuming a Q4 release date to be safe for my planning purposes, and so should you. If it comes out sooner, great. Here is why it matters to you.

Names are important, and I feel bad when I can’t remember a name when I see someone. I have gotten pretty good at telling people when I can’t remember their name although I don’t do it enough because I feel like I should remember everyone’s name. Well, I can’t.

I have thoroughly enjoyed receiving emails and seeing comments on my different blogs in 2014. Hopefully, I have delivered some useful insights to you in 2014 as I try to bring technical ideas to a marketing audience.
