American Apparel Announces NYSE Amex Acceptance of Plan of Compliance

Los Angeles-based American Apparel Inc., a vertically integrated manufacturer, distributor, and retailer of branded fashion basic apparel, announced that it received a letter from the NYSE Amex LLC (the “Exchange”) that the Exchange accepted the company’s previously submitted plan of compliance and, pursuant to such plan, has granted the company an extension until August 16, 2010 to regain compliance with its continued listing standards.

On June 14, Los Angeles-based clothing manufacturer American Apparel issued a statement in response to allegations by Gawker.com that it hires retail employees based on their physical attractiveness. American Apparel’s response is directly reproduced below:

TSC Apparel Continues Growth, Expanding Reach in the Southeast

Cincinnati-based TSC Apparel announced plans for new facilities in mid-Georgia and Atlanta to further expand service in the Southeast region. In late April 2010, TSC Apparel will open a new 100,000 square foot distribution center in central Georgia and a new sales office and pickup warehouse in Atlanta.
