According to Meghan Brazzelle, senior account executive at Atlanta-based Boxercraft, embellishments are a great way to “bring an extra element to any logo.” However, as you might expect, they don’t necessarily work for everyone. She specifically mentioned schools, teams and retail stores as being the prime targets for a little something extra, as well as items such as concert memorabilia.

When it comes to embellished apparel, adding a few sequins just won’t cut it anymore. “Mixing embellishments and locations is the best way to grab attention and create a unique logo,” noted Meghan Brazzelle, senior account executive at Boxercraft in Atlanta. The most popular combinations she reported were fusing screen printing with the aforementioned and ever-popular rhinestones, or using screen printing and appliqué.

The “bitty” in the name means only certain people can get away with this style, so if this isn’t tailor-made for the college crowd, I don’t know what is. Its flannel fabrication is a throwback to a far more casual time when all you had to do in the morning was roll out of bed, throw on shorts and a T-shirt, and you were ready to face the day. Somehow, I don’t think that’ll fly for those of us in the workforce, but for a juniors or youth promotion, it’s all the rage. Ah, nostalgia.
