CPPA Spotlighted on Baltimore’s Fox 45 News for Donation to Winter Coat Drive

Chesapeake Promotional Products Association (CPPA), West River, Md., was thrilled to participate in the 5th annual Warm Holiday Wishes Coat Drive for St. Vincent de Paul Charity in Baltimore. On Monday, December 19, CPPA representatives dropped off almost 100 coats, hats and gloves at the Fox 45 News station in Baltimore. Each year Fox 45 News hosts the drive to support St. Vincent de Paul’s efforts to provide warm clothes for the homeless. Fox 45 News interviewed CPPA board member Megan Erber, who spearheaded the drive, about the donation.

CPSC States Toy Recalls and Lead Violations Down, Credits Stronger Safety Rules

The Consumer Product Safety Commission (CPSC) recently released a statement claiming a 26 percent reduction, or a drop from 46 to 34 total, in toy recalls from 2010 compared to 2011.
