My 9 Favorite March Madness Jerseys

March Madness is such a magical time. I’m probably only saying that because I’m currently winning my group’s bracket challenge. Either way, we’ve got never-ending games, college rivalries and awesome mascots to hold our attention. What could be better than that?

And, when you work in the world of promotional apparel, you tend to pay special attention to branded jerseys. With that in mind, I wanted to share my favorite jerseys from the tournament so far. We’ll see if the teams change up their uniforms for the final games.

It doesn’t get slicker than these black jerseys. With the bold team name on the front, these are both eye-catching and classic.

2. Kentucky

I’m a sucker for a checkerboard design done right, and Kentucky nailed this one.

3. North Carolina

I can’t say I would have ever thought argyle would make sense for a March Madness jersey, but North Carolina went bold this year, and I think it paid off.

4. Michigan

Seemingly a nod to Michigan’s Fab Five glory days, these jerseys are a fan favorite.

5. Gonzaga

Clean and classic, these Gonzaga jerseys make basic look great.

6. Winthrop

I’m not sure if the side detailing on the shorts could be deemed a gradient pattern, but whatever it is, I’m a big fan.

7. Kansas

I can’t say what it is about blue lettering with a red outline that is so eye-catching, but I give this look two thumbs up.

8. UCLA

I’ll come out and say this is pure bias, but I love these blue and gold jerseys.

9. Northwestern

Between the bold purple color-way and the giant “N” on the side of the shorts, these jerseys are a slam dunk in my book.
