Bagging Your Brands

Recently, I was perusing a What’s in Your Bag? article on Corporette, a lifestyle blog for working women, when I decided to give it a promotional products spin. Ignoring the potential ridicule of revealing what I keep in my purse, I’ve listed the most necessary and imprintable items in my bag. Hopefully it will give you a glimpse into what products are helpful to female and all other bag carriers.

Water Bottle:
I ran cross country in high school, and one of the team rules was to keep a water bottle with you at all times. The team rule became a personal one, and I feel slight panic and desert-like thirst if I realize I do not have a water bottle on me. Bullet’s Easy Squeezy 24 oz. Sports Bottle is a good example of a logo-friendly water bottle.

Book:
I am a strong supporter of paperback books, but I realize I am in the minority. People are flocking to purchase items like the Nook, Kindle and iPad. Unlike a sturdy old paperback, these electronic goodies require cases, which can be imprinted. Glorious for you, not so much for my beloved paperbacks.

Sunglasses/Case:
It only takes a few squinty walks to the train station to appreciate some shades. You can protect and add a logo to those shades with Norwood’s Structured Sunglasses Case.

Umbrella:
Frizzy hair might be a high fashion trend for spring, but it is not a look I can pull off. To protect my tresses, and garments, I carry umbrella like the 41″ Classic Folding Umbrella from Leed’s.

Cosmetics Case:
I keep basics like cover up, lotion, hair ties and band-aids in a bag like Bags Depot Inc.’s Obsession Cosmetic Bag. Occasionally, I’ll throw jewelry in there in case I feel the need to have a mid-day bauble change. (I did this once and was called out on it by Kyle Richardson almost immediately.)

Mints/Gum:
Fresh breath is a must so not having mints will send me into a water-bottle-less panic. With mints like the Zero Calorie Mints Custom Imprint Breath Mints from Leashables by OraLabs end-users can avoid this terror.

Hair Brush:
As I mentioned earlier, hair care matters. Foldable brushes like the Hairbrush with Mirror from Target Industries are easy additions to a purse and exactly what you need on a windy day.
