In honor of the scattered thunder storms today in Philadelphia, I wanted to highlight a water-repellant jacket I received a few weeks ago. After returning from PROMOTIONS EAST, I was greeted with a colorful and promotional jacket from Tonix. It was 90 degrees in Philadelphia, so wearing a coat was not on my mind, but that weekend I went to one of my favorite cities: Boston. The trip north brought 60-degree weather and rain, i.e. ideal conditions for the water-resistant jacket I had conveniently stuffed into my bag.
The Vertex has all of the necessities of rainy day jacket: full front zipper, side pockets and a fleece lined body. The fit is relaxed and feminine. It flatters the female form without being too tight, perfect for a woman on the move, which I was while touring Boston in the pouring rain. The royal blue color of the coat kept me visible to my friends though we were all bundled and under umbrellas. I even received compliments from passerby about the polyester coat, and one of my friends called it “sporty chic.” If bright blue is not your style, the coat also comes in navy, black, maroon, scarlet and forest with gray color blocking and black with scarlet color blocking.
Though it is warm now, end-buyers are beginning to think about impending cold weather so jackets like The Vertex will be in demand.
