What is the Most Stylish Way to Wear a Logo?

I asked my sources for the women’s wear feature in May and the upcoming outerwear feature in September their favorite ways to sport logos. Their answers are below. Try their ideas in your apparel promotions and search for examples of their products and embellishments on PromoMarketing.com.

Lea Behar Robinson, vice president of sales and marketing for Staton Corporate & Casual, Dallas:
The traditional way to show off your logo is on the left chest. Personally, I like it on the cuff of my sleeve.

Jennifer Tsai, lead women’s designer and vice president of operations for Tri-Mountain, Irwindale, Calif.:
That really depends on the piece and the logo, and what the overall intent is of the program the piece is in. But for my own personal taste I really like tone-on-tone and a nice subtle location like a sleeve cuff or the shoulder or back yoke. Subtle is nice, but still gets the logo across in a tasteful, stylish way.

Nicole Parker, director of sales and marketing for Dri Duck Traders, Overland Park, Kan.:
While corporations want to place a lot of emphasis on their brand identity, they are going with more subtle yet stylish options like using threads that are tonal to the fabric.

Florence Wong, public relations and marketing associate for Tonix, Fremont, Calif.:
Logos across the chest, back and left chest will always be in style. The message is clear and not obstructed by anything else. However, there are more creative ways to show off your company’s logo by embellishing down the sleeve, on the back of the jacket right above the hem, or across the hood so the message can be seen when the hood is hanging off the back or when its being worn.
