In May of 2000, TSC Apparel was born of a marriage between T-Shirt City based out of Cincinnati, and California Shirt Sales on the West Coast–both long-recognized industry suppliers that have played prominent roles in developing the imprinted sportswear supply chain over the last 30 years. While the deal was by definition an acquisition, practically speaking it felt more like a start-up, as management established over 20 new mill partners and added more than 300 styles to the company’s product portfolio.
In the fall of 2005, the company announced a merger agreement with Georgia Tees, another pioneer in the industry and known as the “Source of the South” for imprintable sportswear.
TSC Apparel plans to celebrate the 10-year anniversary with a customer-appreciation lunch on Friday, May 21 at its Cincinnati headquarters.
