Human Resources News at World Emblem International

Miami-based World Emblem International’s European partner, J&A International Inc., has recently purchased French distributor Imatel and selected Martin Kemp to be the new company president. Michel Carpentier, the former CEO of Imatel, will be working with Kemp and J&A International Inc. over the next year advising and assisting with the transition. “Martin’s responsibility for the Garment Decoration Division and his close involvement in the financial and legal aspects of the purchase make him the natural choice for this role,” commented Charles Fry, president of J&A International. Imatel will be used by J&A International as a tool to further their expansion into the European market with their personalized name badges from namebadgesinternational.com as well as to promote Trimax Transfers to the safety and sportswear markets.

In addition, World Emblem International hired Rossy Perez for the company’s human resources department in Miami. Perez comes to World Emblem with more than two decades of human resources management experience primarily in corporate and employee services with a culturally diverse environment. Perez’s background includes payroll operations, employee benefits, implementing policies and procedures as well as federal and state employment laws.
