St. Paul, Minnesota-based awards supplier Crystal D recently hired two new employees and has created one new position.
Deb Wallenta was hired as an executive assistant to the president. Wallenta has 20 years of experience as an executive assistant. She is a proactive problem solver who is also very detail-oriented. In this position, Wallenta will make travel arrangements, manage calendars, create presentations, and work in a variety of databases.
Marcy Koopman was hired as a marketing assistant. She will be responsible for all internal marketing and sales support. In the past, Koopman created advertising content, email promotions and other sales tools in a business-to-business environment. Her areas of expertise include advertising, proofing, collaboration and support for sales teams.
Tom Warkel has filled a new position in the supply chain called project manager. In this position, Warkel will work with all customers on special projects. He will be responsible for special pricing, design and customer service. In addition, he will maintain his responsibility for the Minnesota sales territory.
