YETI announced last week that it is recalling 250,000 of its popular Rambler travel mugs with Stronghold Lid due to a faulty lid, which could potentially cause injuries.
According to a press release from the company, the contents of the mug, as well as the MagSlider in the lid, could fall out if agitated or inverted.

YETI did not specify if any of the 250,000 mugs included in the recall were sold in promotional products channels. But the company is asking customers to return the Stronghold lid component for a full refund, including any customization or logo fees.
So far, there have been two reports of the magnetic slider being ejected after being sealed, though no injuries were reported, per the CPSC.
The item was sold exclusively on YETI’s website and retail stores, and does not include any products purchased from Amazon, REI, Academy, ACE, Dick’s Sporting Goods or other retailers.
