Who says sustainability can’t be stylish?
Balenciaga, one of the most coveted luxury brands in the world, just released a reusable porcelain cup for coffee, tea, whatever! It reduces the reliance on single-use items, and gives end-users a way to flaunt a high-profile brand in their every day lives.
The cup, part of Balenciaga’s new Objects line of products, is thermal double-wall insulated and available in two colors. The lid is made from rubber-like thermoplastic elastomer (TPE).

To add to the appeal, Balenciaga branded the cups with a city name under the logo, so fans worldwide can show off their local flare or travel history with cities like Hong Kong, Las Vegas, Bangkok, Sydney, Tokyo, New York City, Paris, Rome, Seoul and more.
Now, here’s the catch: You didn’t seriously expect a Balenciaga product to come cheap, did you?
The cup is listed for $85, but that’s not enough to scare away some buyers. Some colors and cities are already sold out.
Reusable products in place of single-use paper and plastics are becoming the norm, whether it’s consumers carrying around reusable cups for coffee runs( the same way people are now used to bringing along tote bags as a result of single-use plastic bag bans) or brands themselves updating their packaging.
If you’re going to use a product every day, you might as well make it a good one. Balenciaga knows its brand carries weight, and that might be enough to convince some holdouts that reusable products are the way to go.
