Crayola Goes Beyond Clothes for Colorful Kohl’s Co-Brand

When it comes to color and creativity, there aren’t many brands that come to mind more quickly than Crayola.

After partnering with Vans for a customizable line of sneakers, Crayola is partnering with Kohl’s for an exclusive co-branded apparel line for kids, which rolls out next week.

The line features just more than apparel, too, with items like plush toys that look like smiling crayons, a Jetson scooter, tabletop decorations, and a home goods collection.

“Crayola’s collaboration with Kohl’s will capture all the joy and excitement in retail this holiday season,” Warren Schorr, Crayola’s senior Vice President of business development, global licensing, and experiences, said in a press release. “The robust ensemble of merchandise will bring celebrations and traditions to colorful life with unexpected products that will surprise and delight. The Crayola x Kohl’s collection empowers kids and adults alike to express themselves through gift-giving in bright colors and kind sentiments—including every shade of happy.”

While this will be available in retail locations rather than through the promo world, it illustrates (pun intended) how a co-branded promotion can look. It captures the branding aesthetic of Crayola, and while apparel is one of the focuses, it extends to other hard goods that appeal to kids and the whole family. Each product complements one another, and shows off the Crayola brand through color and fun.
