If you’ve ever considered Shake Shack your “brand” then you’re in luck. The fast food burger joint has just launched a new merch collection that screams “I’m ready to eat a burger, and probably dip my fries in my milkshake.”
Instead of opting for the streetwear direction that we’ve seen other brands like Taco Bell take, Shake Shack has chosen a comfier approach with hoodies, crewnecks, sweatpants, beanies, and yes, even a small fry baby onesie. Essentially, it’s the type of clothes that are appropriate for the late-night fast food run, and even more appropriate for the food coma on your couch that ensues afterward.
The designs for the new merch drop are simplistic, sleek, and embrace the basics. The Varsity Cream Sweat Shirt adorns “SHACK” in forest green lettering, while the hoodie dons the classic black and neon green combo with “Shack Shack” embroidered in small green lettering. The designs are sort of humble and not in your face, but they still boast brand awareness.
This is all to say that for distributors; streetwear isn’t the only option in the branded apparel world. I know it’s hot right now, but it’s OK to circle back to the basics because they’re timeless.
