What do they have in common? They’re all products featured on the America250 official online store – a licensed site curated and managed by Jenison, MI-based Fabritech (asi/238153), a distributor and decorator with a focus on print-on-demand (POD) production, e-commerce and in-house warehousing and fulfillment.

In July 2025, the celebration of America’s semiquincentennial began, with President Donald Trump kicking things off during an event at the Iowa State Fairgrounds. Back in 2016, Congress established the bipartisan U.S. Semiquincentennial Commission to plan programming centered around the 250th anniversary of the signing of the Declaration of Independence. The America250 initiative has been orchestrating a slew of celebrations across the U.S. in the latter half of 2025 and into 2026, culminating in what is planned to be the largest anniversary observance in the nation’s history.

Of course, branded merch, much of it featuring the official red-white-and-blue America250 logo, is a big part of the celebration, with licensing of the initiative overseen by corporate brand licensing agency Global Icons. “America250 is not just a celebration – it’s the official celebration,” Bill McClinton, Global Icons president, told trade association Licensing International back in May. “We’re honored to help bring this historic moment to life through products that reflect the values, pride and creativity of the American people. And we’re just getting started.”

Fabritech successfully pitched its vision for a POD-powered, e-commerce site, with Fabritech managing the marketing, development and fulfillment of a wide range of products, according to Jordan Jonker, president of the firm.

“Our goal is just to push this event as much as possible,” Jonker says. “It’s the celebration of America. We’re as patriotic as you can get here at Fabritech.”

The webstore has a mix of higher-priced, limited-run products (like the aforementioned pickleball paddles) and more affordable commemorative items, including T-shirts, keychains and stickers. The idea is to appeal to the widest range of Americans possible – America250 has set a goal of “350 by 250” to engage all 350 million Americans by the nation’s anniversary on July 4, 2026 – so that includes developing a variety of products with a variety of designs at a variety of price points. “An event like this could potentially be once in a lifetime for people,” Jonker says. “You’re not targeting just a small demographic; you’re talking to all Americans. We want everybody to celebrate this.”
