Nostalgia for the 1990s is rampant these days. There are a lot of things from the ’90s worth remembering—great music, the Dream Team, wacky game shows. The Minnesota Twins, however, have decided to dust off a ’90s relic that people might not miss as much—Zubaz.
On Oct. 2, the Twins are having “Zubazpalooza,” when they face off against the Kansas City Royals. With the purchase of a ticket, fans can specify what size they want for the Twins-themed Zubaz. The pants range from XS to 2XL.
To advertise the event, the team tweeted a promotional video with players rocking the pants to the tune of a cassette called “90s Jamz.”

Could this be the new craze for sports giveaways? Will fans sport them around Minneapolis in the future, or will they gather dust in the closet with the rest of their old Zubaz? Either way, we’re excited to tune in and see what Target Field looks like packed with zebra-striped pants.
