Lighthouse Christian Products Co., Schaumburg, Ill., recalled two ceramic mugs due to a potential burn hazard. The mugs—the “Pastor’s Wife” model (18208) and “Serve with Gladness” model (18209)—were sold at Family Christian Stores, Lifeway Christian Stores, Mardel and other Christian retailers from July 2015 through October 2015.

According to the Consumer Product Safety Commission (CPSC), hot liquids can seep through hairline cracks in the ceramic mugs, posing a potential burn hazard for users.

The “Pastor’s Wife” model is cream colored on the outside, with teal on the inside. It has the phrase “Pastor’s Wife” on one side and “We Always Thank God and Pray For You” on the other. The “Serve with Gladness” model is cream on both inside and out, and features “Anyone Who Loves is a Child of God” inside a floral arrangement on one side, and “Serve with Gladness” on the other. The mugs’ model numbers are printed on UPC stickers on the bottom of the mugs.

No injuries have been reported, but consumers should immediately stop using the mugs and return them to where they purchased them for a full refund. Customers can also call Lighthouse Christian Products Co. for a full refund.
