Leed’s Launches Reloaded Full-Line Catalog and Updates Pricing

Pittsburgh-based Leed’s, a member of Polyconcept North America, the second largest supplier within the promotional products industry, unveiled its final phase of completely revamping its collateral approach: a mid-year catalog. For the past several years, Leed’s has been one of the only suppliers to launch new products on a rolling basis throughout the year. Now, in an effort to keep the full-line catalog as comprehensive as possible, the “2008 Catalog Reloaded,” includes all of the new products that have been rolled out during the first part of the year, plus a large sampling of products that will be new in Leed’s “Wrap it Up” holiday gift catalog. It also contains new pricing for the remainder of the year.

Jeff Brown, Leed’s vice president of product development and marketing, explained, “Leed’s has always integrated forward-thinking, retail-inspired marketing and product development practices. We bring products to market as soon as we can to keep our offering fresh and unique and infuse a more retail feel to our marketing pieces. It makes sense, on a broader level, for Leed’s to launch a mid-year catalog because our product offering follows the cycle of the retail market as well as it give us the opportunity to adjust our pricing as needed.”

Given numerous factors impacting the global economy, rapid and significant price inflations are being passed from overseas manufacturers to suppliers. With the intent to continue offering its best products and maintain the award-winning service that Leed’s is known for, the company will pass along only a portion of the cost increase to its customers. The increase will be extremely modest, averaging about 5 percent per product.
