River’s End Trading, Minneapolis, has introduced a line of ladies apparel, “Her Perspective Collection”, which includes six new styles in five vibrant colors that is suitable for mixing and matching.
According to Lori Anderson, marketing manager, the styles were created based on feedback from the company’s customers. “Both our men and women customers began telling us that more ladies clothing was needed,” she said. “There are a lot more women in business, and they need something that fits them and their lifestyle. In the past, women have been able to get by with buying a men’s small, but women don’t want to wear men’s small anymore.”
The collection offers: three SOLAR Stretch T-shirts providing 30+ sun protection: a short sleeve crew, long sleeve crew and a turtleneck, all with spandex for a feminine fit; a new ladies’ cardigan and sleeveless shell compliment in 100 percent fine gauge combed cotton jersey stitch; and an Easy-Care stretch dress shirt styled just for women in a polyester/cotton blend with a touch of spandex. All styles are available in pistachio, Carolina blue, black, peony and snow.
“For 2007, every piece we’ve included in a line we wanted it to fit into a collection; if it didnt, we decided not to add it,” noted Anderson. “This year, we really looked at making things specifically fit and coordinate together.”
