3M announced this week that it has fired group president and chief business and country officer Michael Vale due to “inappropriate personal conduct and violation of company policy.”
Vale assumed this position last month having worked at 3M for more than 30 years according to AP. The report states that Vale was terminated last Friday, May 12, but did not specify the reason beyond that the violation of policy was “unrelated to the company’s operations and financial performance.”
