More than 250 U.S. and Canadian nonprofits, schools and religious organizations were awarded promotional products grants through Oshkosh, Wisconsin-based 4imprint’s onebyone program during the second quarter of 2015. The goal of 4imprint’s onebyone charitable giving program is to award one promotional products grant every business day—however, that goal was exceeded in the second quarter of this year.
Each onebyone recipient organization received a $500 in-kind promotional products donation. In addition to supporting the 252 grant recipients, 4imprint also donated promotional items to other charitable organizations to help advance their causes. Charities use their products in an assortment of ways, including reaching staff, clients, employees, donors, supporters, volunteers, community members and more. Among the list of recipients:
- Kids ‘n Kinship distributed logoed seat cushions for bleachers at sporting events as an awareness and recruitment tool for potential mentors and kids.
- Honor Flight Philadelphia, a nonprofit organization dedicated to bringing World War II veterans to see their memorial in Washington D.C., presented veterans with a photo of the trip in an imprinted glass frame.
“It’s exciting to see how charities use the promotional products to help reach their goals, by growing awareness, thanking donors or even recognizing volunteers.” said Kevin Lyons-Tarr, CEO of 4imprint. “We are happy to have the opportunity to contribute in a small way to the great things these organizations are doing.”
As the onebyone charitable giving program continues to grow, 4imprint is currently accepting applications for its 2015 onebyone program online at www.onebyone.4imprint.com. Any 501(c)3 organization, registered Canadian charity, school or religious organization is eligible to apply. Interested organizations are asked to submit applications a minimum of two months before items will be used to allow time for application processing and product delivery.
