Alo Launches New Web site

Alo, Los Angeles, the new apparel performance brand with technical features from Color Image Apparel, has launched www.alosport.com. Alo will make its debut at the PPAI Expo in Las Vegas, Jan. 2-6, 2007, booth #1321.

Alosport.com will feature separate men’s and women’s sections, as well as a breakdown by activity with information on where and how each garment can be used. The Web site also features a full description of Alo’s 10 performance fabrications and product technology information to help customers understand each style’s specific performance capabilities as it relates to fabric and function. Each style page contains multiple images showing all facets of the garment and allows an extreme close-up by placing the mouse over the image with its realZOOM feature. Customers can browse by color and sizing, as well as view product technology, individual item specs and read clothing care. Item pages will also soon suggest coordinating styles, if applicable.

Another feature the site includes is the “Alo & The Environment” page, which supports particular efforts to help maintain the earth’s natural resources. The page will be updated frequently with new items and causes that are being addressed by the Alo team.

“We think our new Web site will be a great tool for our customers looking to find everything they need to know about Alo,” said Brinden Asher, director of marketing who oversaw the project. “Customers will love the realZoom feature because they’ll get as close to the garment as if they were actually seeing it in-person.”

The Web site will also provide updated information regarding distributors and trade shows, as well as offer a catalog download in PDF format.
