American Solutions for Business (ASB), Glenwood, Minn., named Eric Gorghuber information technology senior director, effective Dec. 21. After joining the company in 2011, Gorghuber has held a key role in bringing the PeopleSoft application to a stable and reliable state for ASB. In addition, he was instrumental in implementing the stakeholder-based roadmap process and has strengthened partnerships within the areas he serves.
“In an effort to help realize the senior leadership team’s strategic plan for continued, aggressive, profitable growth over the next three to five years, this change will fully utilize Eric’s strengths on my team, as well as the areas he manages,” said Mike Pfeiffer, vice president of technology for ASB.
In the new position, Gorghuber will continue to direct business solutions, including ASB’s enterprise resource planning software. In addition to these duties, he will become more involved in strategic initiatives to help establish and lead adoption of the company’s next generation of business solutions.
Gorghuber holds a degree in computer information systems from Bemidji State University in 1996. He was a software developer for a healthcare group in Minneapolis for 11 years prior to coming to ASB.
