Ash City Worldwide, Richmond Hill, Ontario, announced effective immediately Brent Rebus has joined Ash City Worldwide in the capacity of chief operating officer. His responsibilities will include leadership and management of all activities of the company, and include the following departments within Ash City USA and Ash City Canada:
· US and Canadian corporate sales
· Specialty retail sales
· Marketing
· Customer service and inside sales
· Information technologies (IT)
· Warehouse and embroidery operations
· Finance and accounting
· Human resources
· Production, sourcing and product design
· Embroidery services
Rebus and his team of managers will be focused on growing the company’s sales throughout North America to a wider group of customers through more innovative selling approaches, industry leading marketing of the company’s products and services, and delivering a best-of-brand level of customer service from our call centers, embroidery and warehouse operations.
Rebus brings leadership, strategic planning, sales and marketing skills, and operational expertise developed with companies such as Cisco Systems Canada Limited, IBM Canada Limited and recently as president of StorageTek Canada.
David Woods, who previously held this position, is now chief operating officer of GH Group of Companies Ltd., parent company of Ash City Worldwide. The GH Group will be focused on a portfolio of investments ranging from ownership of private /public companies, hedge funds and complex real estate instruments. Woods will be focused and mandated to grow all of these investments as well adding new ones to the portfolio for the GH Group.
