Avery Dennison Retail Branding and Information Solutions (RBIS) this week announced the opening of its new global headquarters in Westborough, Mass. A global leader in apparel and footwear industry solutions spanning six continents, Avery Dennison RBIS had been headquartered in Framingham, Mass. for more than 100 years. The move to its modern 20,000 square foot workspace will provide the company’s increasingly global and mobile workforce with a more intelligent, creative and sustainable environment specifically designed to elevate its productivity and resourcefulness. The new state-of-the-art headquarters is located at 1700 W. Park Drive in Westborough.
“As our company continues its expansion and our employees become more geographically diverse, we need a headquarters that supports a global workforce while empowering and inspiring our employees,” said Shawn Neville, president of Avery Dennison RBIS. “Our new facility, with its connected working environments, flexible workspaces and state-of-the-art, sustainable technology, fosters an environment of collaboration and creativity while being conducive to hosting an array of employees from around the world.”
While Avery Dennison is excited to begin a new adventure in Westborough, the company is extremely appreciative of all that Framingham has offered throughout its more than 100-year history. While in Framingham, the company and its predecessors have celebrated many milestones, including the day Dennison Manufacturing began operations in 1898, the listing of Avery International on the New York Stock Exchange in 1967, the company joining the Fortune 500 in 1974, reaching $1 billion in sales revenue in 1985, being added to the S&P 500 in 1987 and the formation of the Avery Dennison Retail Information Services in 2002.
