Better Business Bureau Presents Ethics Award to 4imprint

The Better Business Bureau of Wisconsin Foundation Inc. has recognized promotional products retailer 4imprint, Oshkosh, Wis., for business ethics and integrity. At the Wisconsin Torch Awards for Ethics ceremony in Milwaukee, 4imprint was named runner-up among companies with more than 501 employees, tying with Thrivent Financial for runner-up recognition. Harley-Davidson Motor Company won the Wisconsin Torch Award for Ethics in the large employer category.
“The Torch Awards celebrate businesses and charities in our community that exemplify ethics in the marketplace,” said Ran Hoth, president and CEO of the Better Business Bureau of Wisconsin. “It is our pleasure to highlight these inspiring companies, all of whom put a high priority on ethics and integrity with their customers, their employees, their vendors and their donors.”
The award, presented during a luncheon ceremony, honors companies, charities and individuals who represent ethics and integrity in Wisconsin. To apply for the award, 4imprint submitted information on ways it promotes a culture of ethics and integrity. The award, sponsored by the Better Business Bureau of Wisconsin Foundation Inc., also considers the tone leaders use to promote ethics in the workplace.
“Every day, I am fortunate to be surrounded by a group of people who works hard to live by the golden rule, treating others as we’d wish to be treated,” said Kevin Lyons-Tarr, CEO, 4imprint. “That’s what makes this a true honor for our entire team.”
Torch Award recipients were selected by a dozen business ethics experts, who evaluated applicants based on ethical practices, service excellence, reputation, honesty in advertising, peer recognition, management practices and ethical behavior training for employees.
