BIC Graphic, Clearwater, Fla., continued its support of Wounded Warrior Project (WWP) this Veterans Day by guaranteeing a minimum donation of $100,000 in 2015 in support of the organization’s mission—to honor and empower wounded warriors.
Upon announcing the partnership in January, BIC Graphic made an initial donation of $50,000 to WWP and also began a year-long cause-marketing campaign, donating $2 for each order of select BIC Graphic products. BIC Graphic employees pledged $20,000, and the campaign has resulted in more than $128,000 in proceeds through the end of October 2015—bringing the total BIC Graphic contribution to $198,000.
The Jacksonville, Florida-based organization is working toward its vision of fostering a successful, well-adjusted generation of wounded service members by providing 20 programs and services structured to engage warriors, nurture their minds and bodies, and encourage their economic empowerment. All programs are provided free of charge for warriors and their families.
“We’ve been so pleased by the industry’s response to our efforts on behalf of WWP,” said Emmanuel Bruno, vice president and general manager for BIC Graphic North America. “Our customers continue to support and promote our cause-marketing program—we are far ahead of our original guarantee and look forward to the year’s final result.”
